Bidford Community Library Ltd., (BCL) was formed as a Social Enterprise serving the communities of Bidford-on-Avon and neighbouring villages since April 2012, when Warwickshire County Council took the decision to close it, together with 15 other libraries across the county.
We operate within the County Library Service. Books are supplied to us but we have to raise funds to cover all our running costs.
It has a Board of Directors, who are all volunteers and the Library is managed entirely by enthusiastic volunteers.

Books and so much more!
As well as offering book borrowing, browsing and ordering, and services such as computer use and photocopying, printing and free Wi-fi, we are a community hub hosting a number of regular activities and events for all ages.
All are welcome – why not come and pay us a visit? We are in the same building as the Primary School and Parish Council office and our volunteers will be more than happy to assist you.
