Calling all primary school age children!
It’s Summer again and time for the Summer Reading Challenge. This year’s theme is Read to the Beat and is all about reading and music.
The Challenge is aimed at primary school age children who can select 6 reading-related goals to achieve over the summer. They mark their progress with stickers and a certificate and medal on completion. Children who complete their challenge will be invited to a silent disco at the end.
We are planning a series of art and craft activities on a musical theme to accompany the SRC. These will take place on Mondays from 2.00pm to 4.00pm starting with drum making on Monday 20th July at 2.00pm
Come and register for the Challenge! Registration opens on Saturday 11th July. We open at 10.00 a.m.
